The artwork displayed on this page is the actual artwork used to produce Ladybird books 'Great Artists' books 1, 2 and 3 series 701, published in 1970. This series of books was written by Dorothy Aitchison, Martin's wife.

Materials: gouache/water-colour on artist's board. Unless otherwise stated, the artwork (unframed) measures approx. 26.5cm x 17.5cm. As with any painting, it is best not to display the pictures in direct sunlight.
