The BBC Television programme 'See Hear' recently featured an interview with Martin Aitchison, in which he talks about his life, his work during the war, and illustrating for The Eagle and Ladybird Books. Original Ladybird artwork of a similar era was recently featured on The Antiques Roadshow, on BBC TV.

The most recent exhibition of Martin's work took place this July (2008) at Newby Hall, N. Yorkshire. This exhibition featured original artwork produced for Ladybird Books from the 60s to the 80s and was very well received.
